Happy Father's Day!
This week, your kids heard about Marianna Slocum who has a special gift to learn languages and a passion to help other people read the Word of God in their own tongues. Marianna spent 22 years with the Tzeltal and Bachajon natives in Chiapas, Mexico as well as 20 years with the Paez natives in Columbia translating the Bible into their own languages. Today in Chiapas, the Bible is preached in the local languages in over 400 evangelical churches. It's amazing what God can do when we're willing to use our gifts to glorify Him!
